 "It is a tree of life to those who grasp it, and its supporters are happy": Says the holy Baal Shem Tov: "And those who rejoice in it are happy" - the word "its supporters" (tomcheha) can be read as if "those who rejoice in it" (somcheha) (with a left shin).

That whoever rejoices himself (= makes himself happy) with the Torah, and brings joy to the Torah, merits to be happy with children and grandchildren engaged in Torah and mitzvot.

A segulah for prayer with proper intention all year long: The Seer of Lublin says in the name of the holy Baal Shem Tov, who said that it was told to him from the mouth of Eliyahu H'Navi a"h that whoever prays with proper intention on the three days: "Hoshana Rabbah, Shemini Atzeret, and Simchat Torah," is then able to pray all year with proper intention (Sha'ar Yissachar)

When the Holy Temple stood, the Divine Presence dwelt within it, and from there Her light went out to the entire world. Therefore, to merit divine inspiration and prophecy required great labor and effort. Even then, only at special times, such as the days of Simchat Beit HaShoeva - when they would draw handfuls of divine inspiration and prophecy. But now, when the people of Israel dwell in terrible exile and the Shechina is rolling in the dust, and the Shechina searches for a place of rest - even when She finds a simple inn, but one that is clean of transgressions and sins - there She will establish Her dwelling."

The Segulah and the promise of saying Avraham's mother's name

There is a well-known segulah from the Kaf HaChaim citing HaRav Refael Abuchatzera that one who says Avraham Avinu's mother's name אמתלאי בת כרנבו (Amtlai bat Karnevo) 17 times before Oseh Shalom in Shmoneh Esrei is promised they will have chen and will be protected. When Amtlai found out she was pregnant, Nimrod had made a gezeirah that all baby boys were to be killed right after birth, since his advisors had told him a boy would be born who would show the world who the real GD is. Not knowing what to do, she called out: "Whoever the GD of the world is, if this is a boy, save him!" H'shem helped her hide her pregnancy from everyone, including Terach, her husband. When it was time to deliver, she went into a cave and gave birth. It was a boy. She called him Avram. She knew if he was discovered, he would be killed.
