103 Natural Talent

We have all been designed to be good at something.  Our interests and talents are given to us to be used to serve H'shem as well as earning a living.  One should pursue that which he is good at and interested in and not be discouraged if H'shem withholds his Parnasa at times. It is not the job that is sending the earnings it is GD pg 395 Nefesh Hachaim The phrase in Devarim, "To serve Him with all your heart and soul" Comes to teach us that as love naturally flows from your heart and love of the soul is the willingness to give it up for H'shem. We must take these two aspects and serve Him, in prayer with our hearts and souls. Gate 2, Chpater 1 pg 77

102 Instinct

Animal instinct causes one animal to hunt and another to eat vegetation. Each species was designed to suit their needs and preference. So too every individual has a certain interest and ability to work and achieve in a certain field. pg 395 Nefesh Hachaim More important than the intent in the Mitzvah, is its performance. How much more so when one does a Mitzvah with care and Kedusha. The tikkunim he achieves  in the higher worlds depends on how much he put into  the Mitzvah with devotion, care and Kedusha.  Gate One, Chapter 22 pg 73

101 You were designed

Man is obligated to acquire a livelihood. In H'shem's infinite wisdome he created each individual  with strengths and weakness’ as well as talents in certain areas.   Each individual should pursue the career that best suits his intellect, physique, talent and interest. pg 393/395 Nefesh Hachaim The wisdom of Kabbalah was given to the world to show us how our actions affect the upper worlds.   When we understand how powerful our actions are it will motivate us to serve H’shem with the utmost Kedusha, love and care. Gate One, Chapter 22 pg 73

100 What would you choose

Wealth may be given to those undeserving to test others. Will one see his wealth and follow his ways or recognize truth and pick the proper path even if it is less prosperous? The one, who chooses to be righteous even if it will cause him humiliation, will be rewarded for his loyalty. pg 393 Nefesh Hachaim Kabbalah was revealed to Rabbi Shimon the Ari, and others, to allow the common man to get an "inkling into the effects his actions, words and thoughts have on the spiritual worlds above”. Gate One, Chapter 22 pg 73
