Hilullah of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov

Tonight the 18th of Tishreh and tomorrow  is the Yahrzeit of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov.  As we know a Tzadik is more powerful  in his death then in his life especially  on his Yahrzeit.  It is proper to emulate and remember  his characteristics  as well as his contributions.  Tikun Haklali was put together by Rebbe Nachman as well as the spreading  of the idea of Hitbodidut to talk to H'shem in conversation including   all that is on your mind as well as well as what you desire.  "Azamra" (to sing) is also a Breslov idea which is to find the spark of Elokut (GDlyness) in each Jew that eternally  makes them good no matter  who they are where they  come from or what the have done.  Another teaching is  that we must serve H'shem with Emuna and Simcha that there is no Yaush (no sadness) that everything  that happens is for the good even the worst , for if GD did not want it to happen it could not have ...

Succot B'Emunah

By sitting in the Succa we are reliving the Love H'shem showered upon us throughout our Journey to salvation.  An extra expression of care that we are never alone.   How can we return this message of Love? Through Joy, What is Simcha.  The expression "Simcha", is used to describe a steady happiness, tranquility, calm, trust.   The only way someone can experience true Simcha is when they know there is someone taking care of everything.  To express your Simcha on Succot it is not enough to sit  under tinsel decorated bamboo You have to let go.  Whatever happens,That is exactly what GD wanted to happen.  B'Simcha is the one word that will follow you through your mornings, nights, cleaning , scrubbing, cooking, every event, every occasion every experience. Then you will truly merit to see and feel real joy everyday of your life. A must for every woman to read http://www.count40.blogspot.com/  All the Kavanot, Segulot, Tefilot, a MUS...

The promise of Bitachon

"When a person trusts in GD, He will cure him of his illness by (natural) means or with out such means ...He may even heal him by means of something very harmful".  Rabbenu Bachya is telling us that if one trust in H'shem that He will heal him or send a Yeshua even in the most impossible situations  HE WILL!!!  It does not have to make sense to you, just the opposite the more impossible it seems with complete Emuna and Bitachon that H'sehm will send the Yeshua, HE WILL. pg 409

The moment Yom Kippur is depending on.

Hodu L'H'shem Ki Tov, that we made it through to another year to another Yom Kippur.  What! Looking forward to another Yom Kippur?  Yes.  If we would understand what an incredible Chesed it is that H'shem gave us to shed all the Averos all the baggage of the last year we would rejoice and count every second till it arrives.  Remember you get to stand in front of your Creator who knows you, loves you, created you.  He is routing for your success and your desire to come close to him.  When you get that feeling on Yom Kippur, "H'shem I love you, I want to come close to you.  I am sorry I acted in a way that put a barrier between us instead of grew us closer together." That is your moment That is the moment all of Yom Kippur is depending in.  Go with that feeling draw closer. He is waiting for you. Gemar Chasima Tova to everyone. Please forgive me if I offended or disappointed anyone.  I Thank you for being my audience so that I can grow closer...

Not only your money

The proper steps to insure you health and well being is just as critical as securing your Parnasa.  A person should PLACE HIS TRUST in the Creator and at the same time try keep  healthy through  natural means.   Rabbenu Bachya explains this to mean,  fighting illness  in "the customary way...yet have no faith in the power of the natural causes of health and illness to help or harm except with GD's permission. pg407/409

Correct steps to secure a living

As we have discussed  before a person must be responsible and take the proper steps to secure a living.  One should make sure  that his employment is Suited for his personality body  faith  and class      as stated by Rabbenu Bachya.  "At the same time he should place his trust in GD that He will not abandon him, neglect him and ignore him."    pg 407

"How did he make all his money?"

Have you ever heard this saying "How did he make all his money??" or "How did he lose everything???" If someone were to actually answer that question to explain why and not just give facts (which might fall under the category of Loshon Hara) he may very well be considered a Kofer someone who is denying the existence of GD as though a series of events could control someones's gains and loses and not GD.  Rabbenu Bachua writes, "If a man fails to secure a livelihood by the means he has employed, the reason may be that he already has in his possession provisions for that day, or that it will come to him through other means."  At all times, in every situation and at every moment you must be aware that H'shem is completely running the show and arranging, organizing and orchestrating the events in your life for your pleasure and benefit as only the Creator of the world knows how. Shabbat Shalom pg 407

Who gives and who receives

Rabbenu Bachya is describing a scenario for us that I think we can all relate too.  As one of the Chasisidm said, he is amazed by someone who gives something to someone that he is required to give, then reminds him of what he did and wants to be thanked.  To the Chasid and Rabbenu Bachay, this is absurd since he is completely taking H'shem out of the picture.  In the same venue one that works and is entitled to his pay, still tries to flatter his employer as though his Parnassa was depended on him.  We must be so careful in our actions and words.  So many of us say BE"H and IY"H but when it comes to feeling it in our hearts and proving it through our actions we fall short. pg 407

You must remember who is pulling the strings

When it comes to our jobs how many of us can focus that the job itself is only the way H'shem sends the Parnasa not the source.  As Rabbenu Bachya writes, " He should not grow to rely on that source, becoming enamored and obsessed with it, for then his reliance on GD will be weakened. One should thank the Creator who grave him substances after he had exerted himself."  Again we see the message that Rabbenu Bachya is stressing here.  One must first exert an effort for H'shem to be able to send him what he needs.  On the other hand too much effort negating that H'shem is in charge can have the opposite effect that his needs will be withheld Chas Vishalom. pg405/407
