He is the couse of the city's welfare

The alchemist's work, should its nature become public, may lead to his death.  For the object of his efforts and labors is contrary to the rule of nature and if he does not know how to conceal his secret.  He who rules all will authorize someone to kill him.  But he who trusts in GD when his trust becomes known will be esteemed and honored by men who will glory in being near him and in seeing him. He will be the cause of his city's welfare, and because of him, his fellow citizens will be shielded from misfortune. pg 359 Daily Halacha Some poskim consider the birchos ha-Torah recited over Parshas Zachor an integral part of the mitzvah.  This means that the Oleh who recites these blessings must recite them slowly, loudly, and with kavanah in order to fulfill the congregation's obligation with the blessing. The congregation, too, must hear every word with kavanah for them to fulfill their obligations with the berachos   But since most poskim do not menti...

Reward for trust

The alchemist's skill will not accompany him at his latter end, and in this world, he obtains by it nothing but security against poverty and freedom from dependence on other people, But he who trusts in GD will be rewarded for his trust both in this world and the next. pg 357 Daily Halacha One should pay full attention to the reading of Parshat Zachor so that he does not miss even a single word. But as long as he heard the basic message of the Torah portion to remember Amalek's dastardly deeds and eradicate their memory, one has fulfilled his obligation even though he did not hear every single word of the reading.

Thank You

The alchemist does not stay long in any one place for fear that his secret will be discovered, but he who trusts in GD is secure in his country and has peace of mind in his place pg 357  Daily Halacha 7th Adar  L'chatchilah cookie recipes with ten cups of flour and are made with vegetable shortening and eggs only do not have any water, wine, grape juice, olive oil, milk, or bee's honey as an ingredient should not be made at all.   A small amount of water should be mixed in during the kneading process, even if the recipe does not call for it. B'diavatr if such a dough was prepared, challah is taken, but no blessing is recited. Unlike standard challah, however, this challah cannot be disposed of by burning. Rather, it must be buried in the ground.

Fear

The alchemist does not stay long in any one place for fear that his secret will be discovered. Daily Halacha Contemporary poskim agree that speaking into a microphone on Shabbat, even if it was turned on before Shabbat, is forbidden for various reasons. The same halacha applies to speaking into an intercom. Therefore, it is forbidden to leave a microphone on in a baby's room since an adult will also be entering the child's room, and their voices will carry over the intercom system.

Never withheld

At no time and in no place to the end of his days will sustenance be withheld for one who trusts in GD  pg 357 Daily Halacha Harav Kamenetsky is quoted as ruling that once a child is old enough to recite a verse from the Torah or to answer Amen to a beracha, the parents should make sure that his hands are washed properly.  Some poskim recommend that an infant's hands, even a newborn's, should be washed.

He may not be able sustain himself

The alchemist may not be able to sustain himself with all the gold and silver in his possession, for times may come when there will be no food in the city.  Hilchot Shabbat Some poskim hold that once a child is old enough to touch food, his hands should be washed since a ruach ra'ah (a spirit of impurity) adheres to objects touched by hands that have not been ritually washed upon awakening in the morning.

One who trusts

One who trusts in H'shem is safe from disease and illness unless they are in the form of atonement or to increase his compensation.  Daily Halacha Some poskim hold that the obligation of a child washing his hands upon rising begins when the child reaches the age of chinuch which depending on the child, is approximately five to six years old.

Safe

The alchemist is not safe from illness and disease which spoil his pleasure in his wealth and prevent him form enoying his possesions and delighting in his acquisitions.    Daily Halacha Suntan lotion, which is in cream ointment or thick, slow, -pouring oil form, is forbidden to be used on Shabbos as it may be a citation of the Shabbos Labor of Smoothing. It is permitted however, to use suntan protection which is in a liquid spray form since Smoothing does not apply to runny nonviscous liquids such as liquid spray.
