45 Power of thought

The first of five prefaces of comprehension and realization that will bring one to completely trust in GD is  belief and clear recognition that the 7 qualities that would bring one to trust is exclusive to GD. pg 373 Nefesh Hachaim The power of thought is controlled by the Neshamah, the heights of the three level of the soul, which resides in the brain.  It gives one the ability to know and understand the Torah Hakdosha. Gate One, Chapter 14 pg 56

44 With every breath

When one recognizes GD's complete kindness and surrenders his trust to Him, he  lovingly  accepts and surrenders to GD's  judgment  and does not get angered at the path He chose for him. pg 371   Nefesh Hachaim Ruach is parallel to speech, explaining   the human need to take a breath while speaking.    The   'Ruach” is situated in the heart. Gate One, Chapter 15, pg 56

43 The life force

Once one internalizes that GD's   generosity   and kindness are "universal" and exclusive to the Creator alone, he will then trust in him and   completely   surrender himself to Him. 371 Nefesh Hachaim   Action corresponds to Nefesh that resides in the blood and is concentrated in the liver. It represents the basic biological function/animal level if you will.  The blood feeds the limbs of the body allowing them to function and move. Gate One, chapter 14 pg 55/56

42 Gain and Loss

"Gain and loss are not controlled by man but are in the hands of the Creator alone" pg 371 Nefesh Hachaim Man's Action, "speech, and thought correspond to the three levels of the soul Nefesh Ruach and Neshamah" Gate One, Chapter 14, pg 55

41 Through improper thoughts

The Creator is "compassionate, He is not neglectful, He is all knowing and invincible and He alone governs man from the beginning of his existence and development" pg 369/371 Nefesh Hachaim In Mishlei it pleads with us to "have pity and compassion on the higher worlds... Be careful not to impair any of them through an improper thought." Gate One, Chaper 14, g 55

Are your Tefilot not being answered?

Shavua Tov Everyone. We learnt in this week’s Shabbat Shiur the keys to why your Tefilot may not be answered and what we need to do to get them answered and see the Yeshout. I have included two links the first is the original Tefilah Shiur and the second on how you can ruin or be showered will all the Yeshuot this Pesach. 1. Is what I am Davening for truly good for me ?  I must trust H'shem if I have not gotten it yet it may not be good for me Example: a.This challenge is making me a better person                b. It is really not for my best                c. I am growing closer to H'shem by having this challenge                d. This challenge is in place of a challenge that would be worse 2. Don't complain.  Any Tefilah that has a slight sound ...

40 Intention

When one studies the qualities that is needed to put their full trust in someone they will come to realize that no one possess all the qualities needed other than the Creator. pg369 Nefesh Hachaim We learn in the Gemare Rosh Hashana that "H'shem understands each person's intentions and attaches them to their deeds"  His judgment is based on the person's intentions in doing the sin. Gate One, Chapter 14, pg 54/55

39 You are obligated

Anyone that  encompasses  all the qualities mentioned is worthy of,  and obligates us to put our  complete  trust in. pg 369 Nefesh Hachaim The intensity and desire to sin will be one of the deciding factors for punishment.   The stronger the desire was to sin the greater the damage   was to the higher loftier worlds   This explains the Gemara in Yuma that says:" Immoral thoughts are more harmful than the immoral act itself" Gate One, Chapter 14 pg 54

38 Absolutely Generous

The One in whom we must trust is "absolutely  generous  and kind"  A constant flow of giving, and Chesed,  to those that deserve it as well as to the  undeserving . pg 369 Nefesh Hachaim   The intention behind one's actions are so powerful that it will cause  different outcomes in the higher worlds.  Depending on one's intention the punishment for a sin will match the intention of the sinner as well the damage and distruction it created in Heaven. Gate One, Chapter 14, pg54

37 Weight of his actions

There is no one that can help or harm him.   His destiny and what carriess him along the way are completely     left up to the One Above.  "As in the case of a slave confined to a prison under the control of his master", only He can help or harm us. pg369 Nefesh Hachaim Arizal,” GD’s punishments vary depending on the exaltedness of the root of the sinner’s soul.”   The closer the soul is to the throne the greater the weight of his actions. Gate One, Chapter 14 pg 54

36 Exclusive Care

The care is exclusive.  If one  looks back at his life from when he was in his mother"s womb till today, he will realize that there was only One that could protect, affect & take care of him at every stage. pg 367/369 Nefesh Hachaim The same act may be committed by two separate people and have drastically different effects in the higher worlds. One reason may be the understanding and position of one’s soul is higher than the other and his actions have a greater effect on the uppers worlds, for good or for bad. He is there for punished or rewarded according to his stature, since his positon causes a greater effect in the heavens. Gate One, Chapter 14, pg 53/54
