Every Yid has a letter in the Torah

One who trusts and fears H'shem fears no other. He is free from the burden of pleasing flattering and bribing them. He will stand up for justice and the way of the Torah and will not fear his job, life, or luxuries because of it.

"The rood of each Jew's soul is linked to a letter of the Torah. We now understand the verse that H'shem thought of bringing Yisroel into the world before he brought anything else. Being that the Torah and the Yid are the same roots there is no contradiction when we read that the Torah came before all else.

The Segulah and the promise of saying Avraham's mother's name

There is a well-known segulah from the Kaf HaChaim citing HaRav Refael Abuchatzera that one who says Avraham Avinu's mother's name אמתלאי בת כרנבו (Amtlai bat Karnevo) 17 times before Oseh Shalom in Shmoneh Esrei is promised they will have chen and will be protected. When Amtlai found out she was pregnant, Nimrod had made a gezeirah that all baby boys were to be killed right after birth, since his advisors had told him a boy would be born who would show the world who the real GD is. Not knowing what to do, she called out: "Whoever the GD of the world is, if this is a boy, save him!" H'shem helped her hide her pregnancy from everyone, including Terach, her husband.
