One who does not trust in H'shem not only believes that what you have is at his expense he is under the illusion that his assets, children even you can help him. This way of thinking causes him to hold others in "contempt, hating, slandering and cursing them" for not coming to his aid. In reality, this behavior causes the higher worlds to judge him in "contempt and he is detested" in this world and the next. pg 453
Nefesh Hachaim Another trap of the yetzer hara is to convince you that the most important objective you have is to do everything you do L'shem Shmayim. He will tell you that even an avera done to make GD's name great in the world is your duty. He will even try to bring arguments of the service of our Forefathers before the Torah was given. We can not be fooled. Our job is to follow the Torah and Gedoleh Yisroel in how we are commanded to serve H'shem today.
