One who trusts in H'shem is loved by all and he loves them back. One who does not trust in H'shem has no friends as his distrust causes jealousy believing that if they have it he won't and that their success and livelihood are at his expense. pg 453
Nefesh Hachaim Our thoughts affect the higher worlds, the more pure the greater the influence. Yet still if one says Shema at the correct time declaring H'shem's oneness even though he does not fully understand the meaning he is considered one who has"worshiped GD" We see that kavanah is praiseworthy but following the directives of the Torah and Rabbanim's as well as the timing of the mitzvah, is imperative and praiseworthy with or without the lofty kavanot.
