If someone relies on their money, wealth, investments "it will be taken from him" and given over to someone else. Or H'shem may let him hold on to it but he will not have the ability to enjoy it. It may be given as a deposit to him, until someone worthy of it will receive it. Even worse he may hold on to it, and enjoy it but it will be his downfall. It will be used as a distraction, if you will, that will lead him to never recognize or call out to H'shem.

When GD created man He did so embodying him with "the ability to control countless forces and worlds. With his good deeds, words and thoughts, man sustains and gives energy to countless forces and holy celestial worlds increasing their holiness and light... With wrongful deeds thoughts and actions he causes incalculable destruction in the higher worlds darkening and diminishing the radiance and holiness reinforcing the source of spiritual impurity." This is the meaning of man being created in "GD's image" with the ability to empower or destroy. It says in the Zohar when "Yisarel transgresses they weaken GD's strength , but when they act morally they give him strength and power."

The Segulah and the promise of saying Avraham's mother's name

There is a well-known segulah from the Kaf HaChaim citing HaRav Refael Abuchatzera that one who says Avraham Avinu's mother's name אמתלאי בת כרנבו (Amtlai bat Karnevo) 17 times before Oseh Shalom in Shmoneh Esrei is promised they will have chen and will be protected. When Amtlai found out she was pregnant, Nimrod had made a gezeirah that all baby boys were to be killed right after birth, since his advisors had told him a boy would be born who would show the world who the real GD is. Not knowing what to do, she called out: "Whoever the GD of the world is, if this is a boy, save him!" H'shem helped her hide her pregnancy from everyone, including Terach, her husband. When it was time to deliver, she went into a cave and gave birth. It was a boy. She called him Avram. She knew if he was discovered, he would be killed.
