You may need to be careful

There are three reasons says Rabbenu Bachya, a person would as for a pledge from one he is trusting to support him.

For fear that he will lose his money and be unable to support him.
He would become stingy and refuse to pay him.
For fear that he would die or disappear before paying him.

These would be an understandable way to enter into a relationship with a human partner. When we are referring though to the Master of the Universe that none of the above apply too "it is much more shameful and absurd to demand a pledge from Him."

The Segulah and the promise of saying Avraham's mother's name

There is a well-known segulah from the Kaf HaChaim citing HaRav Refael Abuchatzera that one who says Avraham Avinu's mother's name אמתלאי בת כרנבו (Amtlai bat Karnevo) 17 times before Oseh Shalom in Shmoneh Esrei is promised they will have chen and will be protected. When Amtlai found out she was pregnant, Nimrod had made a gezeirah that all baby boys were to be killed right after birth, since his advisors had told him a boy would be born who would show the world who the real GD is.
