You might very well lose it.

The second error of the "ignorant one" is that everything he earned he believes is his and he has a right to enjoy it. He is not aware that there are "three types of income"

  1. Ones own needs, that GD has promised to every living creature on the face of the earth.
  2. Second, the needs of others such as his wife and children, hired help.  This is NOT PROMISED to everyone only a "select few under certain conditions." This is allotted as decreed by GD  according to the "Creators's ways of kindness and justice.
  3. Third is earnings to be "held as wealth" This is money that is extra "of no use to the owner" this is money he puts away as inheritance, invest, donates or even loses.   
So we see that someone that earns money must understand it was given to him by H'shem for a purpose and one should not feel haughty and powerful as Rabbenu Bachya says:" It may turn out that he has accumulated it for his successor-his widow's next husband his murderer or his greatest enemy.

In summation one who believes he earned it so it is his right to use it might very well, due to his ignorance, lose it.

The Segulah and the promise of saying Avraham's mother's name

There is a well-known segulah from the Kaf HaChaim citing HaRav Refael Abuchatzera that one who says Avraham Avinu's mother's name אמתלאי בת כרנבו (Amtlai bat Karnevo) 17 times before Oseh Shalom in Shmoneh Esrei is promised they will have chen and will be protected. When Amtlai found out she was pregnant, Nimrod had made a gezeirah that all baby boys were to be killed right after birth, since his advisors had told him a boy would be born who would show the world who the real GD is. Not knowing what to do, she called out: "Whoever the GD of the world is, if this is a boy, save him!" H'shem helped her hide her pregnancy from everyone, including Terach, her husband. When it was time to deliver, she went into a cave and gave birth. It was a boy. She called him Avram. She knew if he was discovered, he would be killed.
