A thief can only steal what H'shem decreed is his,

There are a number of ways, good and bad to go about earning money. The "ignorant one" as Rabbenu Bachya calls him makes three mistakes.
The First Error: He earns his money through "shameful and wicked methods" If he would have been honest and clean about earning the money, he would not only have succeeded in making the money that H'shem had assigned to him he would have reached his "goals and aspirations succeeded in his religious as well as secular affairs and what the Creator had decreed for him would not be diminished in the least." In other words a thief can steal only what H'shem has agreed is his to begin with. The fact that he obtained it by stealing instead of honestly the money will ruin him instead of give him pleasure and a life of happiness. The same is true for someone who chooses to act honestly although around him they are dealing in underhandedness and dishonesty. He will earn exactly what H'shem has promised him and NO ONE can take that away from him. He in turn will be rewarded and be able to enjoy his money as well as all the other benefits life has to offer.

Once, on a Motzoei Shabbos, the chasidim were sitting in the bais medrash of the Ruzhiner Rebbe zy”a for Melave Malka. The Segulah and the promise of saying Avraham's mother's name

There is a well-known segulah from the Kaf HaChaim citing HaRav Refael Abuchatzera that one who says Avraham Avinu's mother's name אמתלאי בת כרנבו (Amtlai bat Karnevo) 17 times before Oseh Shalom in Shmoneh Esrei is promised they will have chen and will be protected. When Amtlai found out she was pregnant, Nimrod had made a gezeirah that all baby boys were to be killed right after birth, since his advisors had told him a boy would be born who would show the world who the real GD is. Not knowing what to do, she called out: "Whoever the GD of the world is, if this is a boy, save him!" H'shem helped her hide her pregnancy from everyone, including Terach, her husband. When it was time to deliver, she went into a cave and gave birth. It was a boy. She called him Avram. She knew if he was discovered, he would be killed.
